Ingredients and method
The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.
85 g butter
25 g granulated sugar
50 g brown sugar, preferably muscovado as it is more aromatic
1 egg
175 g self-raising flour
60 g dried apricots
60 g prunes
1 sachet vanillin

In a bowl, I whisk the softened butter with the brown sugar.

I beat the egg with a fork and add it to the mixture.

I add the granulated sugar, still mixing.

I add the flour a little at a time.

I cut the apricots and prunes into small pieces.

I add them to the mixture along with the chocolate chips.

I line a baking tray with baking parchment and use a spoon to make balls of the mixture. It is a little sticky, but that is how it should be.

I bake at 170°C for about 15 minutes.
When cold, dust with icing sugar.
The combination of chocolate and fruit may seem a little unusual, but I assure you they are delicious.
You can use only apricots if you prefer; in that case, double their weight.
