Ingredients and method

The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.

Thick, soft waffles with jam, Nutella, maple syrup, cream and fresh fruit for a delicious breakfast or afternoon snack. You need a waffle iron; mine cost less than 20 euros at Lidl. This is exactly the recipe in its booklet and seems perfect.
INGREDIENTS FOR 20
250 g butter
200 g sugar
5 eggs
500 de Italian 00 flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
400 ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla or a vanilla pod
I melt the butter in the microwave and let cool slightly.
I break the eggs into a bowl.
I add sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
I start whisking with an electric whisk and add the melted butter.
I sift the flour and baking powder.
I gradually whisk the flour into the mixture.
I alternate with a little milk.
I continue alternating milk and flour until soft and smooth.
I heat the waffle iron. A red light comes on and it is ready when green.
I open it and brush with a little melted butter.
I put 3 tablespoons of batter in each compartment.
I close and cook for 5 minutes, then open and check. They remain soft, firming slightly as they cool, but should be coloured. After the first waffle, judge whether more or less batter is needed.
I make them all. Enjoy!
