In this heat, fruit ice lollies are ideal, including for children. No colourings, just fresh fruit of your choice. I made them with strawberries and peaches, and have also made them with apricots, pineapple, melon and berries. Choose well-ripened fruit for a good result: fresh and thirst-quenching. Make plenty to keep in the freezer. I bought silicone moulds with wooden sticks, readily available commercially, or use ice lolly moulds. I then packed them individually in food bags.
