I always bought it and love it with yoghurt, but there is always an ingredient I dislike. This version is tailored to my taste; add or remove ingredients to suit yours. It is delicious, and honestly I like snacking on it alone too.

- Step 1 of 10
I melt honey, sugar, oil and vanilla in a small pan to form a syrup. I turn the oven on to 150°C.

- Step 2 of 10
I put oats, coconut, seeds, spices and raisins in a bowl; soak very dry raisins in water first.

- Step 3 of 10
I roughly chop the hazelnuts and almonds.

- Step 4 of 10
I add them to the bowl and mix.

- Step 5 of 10
I also added chocolate chips I needed to use up and chopped prunes. Dried blueberries, apricots or apples work well too.

- Step 6 of 10
I pour in the honey syrup and two lightly beaten egg whites.

- Step 7 of 10
I mix everything.

- Step 8 of 10
I spread on a tray lined with baking paper and press down well.

- Step 9 of 10
I bake for 20 minutes, remove and gently move the mixture without breaking it up too much, as I like larger pieces. I bake for another 15 minutes, then cool completely before putting in a glass jar or container.

- Step 10 of 10
Now enjoy: I promise it is delicious, natural and without preservatives.
