Ingredients and method
The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.
INGREDIENTS
Pineapple
Peaches
Strawberries
Kiwi fruit
Plums
Other plum varieties
Banana
Apricots
Brown sugar
Crisp wafer
Vanilla ice cream
Wooden skewers
Kitchen blowtorch for caramelising
I wash my chosen fruit; use whichever fruit you prefer.

I peel the fruit, leaving the skins on the plums, other plum varieties and apricots, and cut it into fairly large pieces.

I thread the fruit onto the skewers, alternating colours for an attractive appearance.

I put the brown sugar on a plate.

I lay the skewers on it and sprinkle with sugar, making sure it sticks well.

I light the blowtorch and pass it over each skewer repeatedly, turning it on all sides until it starts to caramelise.

I put a skewer on a large plate. Get some crisp wafers and good artisan vanilla ice cream, or make your own.
Fill a wafer with ice cream and put it alongside. I added a small glass of limoncello.
An excellent end to a meal or a tasty snack, and a way to encourage children to eat fruit, without the limoncello, of course!
