Ingredients and method
The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.
I saw Laura Ravaioli make this on Gambero Rosso and tried it over a year ago, adding it immediately to my collection. Now seen on many blogs, I share it: easy, quick and delicious.
INGREDIENTS
3 Renetta apples; I used Golden
150 g flour
100 g sugar
100 softened butter
3 eggs
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
Grated lemon zest and juice
TOPPING
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

I peel and dice apples.

I mix them with lemon juice to prevent darkening.

I put sugar, lemon zest and sifted baking powder in a bowl.

I add flour, eggs and salt and mix.

I add softened butter.

I beat with electric whisks.

It should be a soft cream.

I line a cake tin with parchment.

I spread batter evenly on the bottom.

I scatter diced apples over it.

I lightly press with a spatula or hands.

I combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

I evenly sprinkle over and bake in a hot oven at 170°C for 40 minutes.

A soft cake with wonderful aroma.
