Sliced speck (or your favourite sliced cured meat)

IMG_9172-1.JPG
I crack the egg into a bowl and whisk in the glass of water.
IMG_9175.JPG
I add a little salt.
IMG_9178.JPG
I add the flour.
IMG_9181.JPG
I mix thoroughly to make a thick batter.
IMG_9183.JPG
I strain it to remove any lumps.
IMG_9185.JPG
I heat a little oil in a 30 cm non-stick frying pan.
IMG_9187.JPG
I pour in the batter, swirling the pan to distribute it evenly, and let it set.
IMG_9192.JPG
When it starts releasing from the bottom, I turn it over; both sides should be golden.
IMG_9193.JPG
I put it on a board and cut it in half.
IMG_9195.JPG
I fill it with speck and cheese.
IMG_9197.JPG
I roll it like an ice cream cone.
IMG_9198.JPG
IMG_9199.JPG
I return it to the pan for a few minutes so the cheese melts.

The snack is ready!
