Ingredients and method

The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.

A quick, tasty side dish that will surprise you! Use your preferred vegetables.
I rarely use stock cubes, but one adds stronger flavour here; use ordinary salt if preferred.
Different vegetables still cook well together.

I prepare and wash vegetables and slice thinly with a mandoline or knife.
I oil the bottom of a microwave-safe dish and mix in vegetables.

I finely chop the stock cube and add half over the vegetables.

Then another vegetable layer, remaining stock cube, oil and ground pepper. I mix well.

I cover and microwave at the highest temperature for about 10 minutes.

I remove, mix, drizzle with oil and microwave another 10 minutes. Check doneness and extend a few minutes if needed.

Sometimes I add thinly sliced button mushrooms or artichokes.
