Ingredients and method
The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.
If you have leftover cake that has become a little firm, this recipe solves the problem!
INGREDIENTS
Leftover sponge or soft cake
2/3 tablespoons Nutella, or apricot jam
Dark chocolate
Chopped hazelnuts or almonds
Coloured sprinkles
Desiccated coconut

I crumble the cake in a bowl and add a couple of tablespoons Nutella.

Wearing gloves, I start mixing. The amount of Nutella depends on the quantity of cake; adjust as you mix the ingredients.

The mixture should become even and firm.

I shape small portions into walnut-sized balls. Keep them small, otherwise the chocolate and coating make them too large and heavy.

I put them all on a plate and freeze for about thirty minutes.

I take the dark chocolate.

I roughly chop it.

I melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, in a bowl over gently boiling water. The water must not touch the bowl's base. I stir often.

It is ready when fully melted, smooth and glossy.

I put the different coatings in little bowls.

I take the balls from the freezer and use a spoon to dip them in chocolate, removing excess.

I roll each ball in the chosen coating until completely covered.

Insert sticks to make cake pops, popular with children, and stand them in polystyrene or put them in paper cases.
Refrigerate to keep the chocolate crisp.
