Ingredients and method

The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.

These delicious, simple muffins are easy to make but full of flavour and fragrance, and packed with apples. Wonderful served warm after a meal with softly whipped cream and cinnamon, or with a cup of tea for an afternoon snack.
INGREDIENTS FOR 6
130 g Italian 00 flour
100 g brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
80 ml milk
50 ml maize oil
Vanilla
2 large apples
I sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl.
I add a good pinch of vanilla powder or seeds from a pod.
I add the brown sugar and cinnamon, adjusting the cinnamon to taste, and mix the dry ingredients well.
I put the liquids, oil and milk, into another bowl.
I add the whole egg.
I mix well.
I peel and finely dice the apples.
I add the diced apples to the dry ingredients and coat them completely.
I pour in the liquids.
I mix quickly and thoroughly.
I divide between muffin cases, filling generously because they rise during baking and then sink a little.
I bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.
They keep for 2/3 days. Warm them in the microwave if you want to serve them warm.
