Thank you to the ‘ZENZERO E LIMONE’ blog for this wonderful recipe.
Ingredients
500 g Manitoba flour
180 ml milk
2 eggs
50 g softened butter
70 g sugar
30 g fresh yeast
1 teaspoon salt
Nutella
To finish
A little milk
Pearl sugar
I warm the milk slightly and crumble in the yeast.

I stir until dissolved.

I put flour and sugar in the stand mixer.

I add butter, eggs and the milk with yeast.

I knead for 5 minutes, add salt and continue.

Once smooth and pulling away from the bowl, I stop the mixer.

I knead briefly on the work surface and form a ball. I rise for 1 hour in a covered bowl inside the closed, switched-off oven.

After an hour, it has doubled.

I turn onto the work surface and divide into three equal parts.

I lightly flour the surface and roll strips about 10 cm wide and 45 long.

I generously spread Nutella in the centre of each.

I close each into an even roll, thoroughly enclosing the Nutella.

I join the three rolls at one end, braid and seal the other end.

I line a ring tin with baking parchment.

I gently place the braid inside, join its ends, brush with milk and add pearl sugar.

I cover and rise another 1 hour until doubled.

I bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes and let cool slightly before removing from the tin.
Wonderful and very soft.
