Ingredients and method
The preparation remains in its original order; guided mode is not available for this structure.

Delicious waffles, sweet but not too sweet, for breakfast or a snack with jam or Nutella. This recipe combines white flour and maize flour.
I found it on the Viva la Focaccia blog; they are good cold or warm.
INGREDIENTS
180 g '00' flour
130 g maize flour, the kind used for polenta
36 g sugar
10 g baking powder
2 g salt
80 g seed oil
2 whole eggs
420 g milk
TOPPINGS
Nutella
Jam
I put the '00' flour in a bowl.

I add the maize flour.

The sugar.

The salt.

The sifted baking powder.

I pour the milk into a jug.

I add the oil; I used maize oil.

I crack the eggs into it.

I mix well with a small whisk.

I add the liquids to the flours, mixing well to avoid lumps.

I should have a smooth batter, which I leave to rest for 5 minutes.

I now heat the waffle maker, available inexpensively from electrical shops, and lightly oil it for the first waffle only.

I pour in a small ladleful of batter, without overfilling.

I close the lid and cook at maximum power, setting 4 on my machine, for 3/4 minutes. Test your own machine: when opened, the waffle should release easily and be golden.

I continue until all the batter is used.
I put the waffles on a rack to cool. Do not stack them straight away, as they will stay too damp.

I will soon share a savoury version to serve with cheese creams.
